Unlike what most of us on the forum believed, ie, that it was a banning offence to post PM's without the accord of the sender, it now appears that this is not the case. The mods are changing the rules to suit themselves as and when it suits them. Be careful what you post.

This isn't just about "X told me..." rumours Your PM's can now be posted, word for word with ID and date, and you can do nothing about it. This is a major change which was introduced last night to save the neck of one of the "gang of three" mods who used to rule over us, with total fairness I will admit, a few months ago. A complaint was made to the other mods last night but, apart from a reply from probably the only upstanding mod there is now, total silence reigns and the perpetrator is still lording it over us. After the death threat issue, yet another of the rules has fallen by the wayside due to the corporate corruption of those supposed to oversee the proper running of the forum.

What will be the next taboo to be legalised? Watch this space for further details.

 

The site owner can do what the hell he wants; he appoints a manager and moderators to do whatever the hell they want on his behalf.


If you're not happy about this, buggering off to another forum would be a more sensible action than staying here to complain about it.

We're all socks. We don't post here under our own identities. The only thing is, I don't have multiple socks posting at the same time. This identity was only made up to try to get over trolling on the story site. I very rarely used it until now.

I just hope all of this nonsense can be put behind us and we can all get on again like grown adults. Az was the one who started this crap. He doesn't accept criticism and started this thread as a tantrum because he was told to grow up. As you said before, the gif was sent a couple of months ago but was ignored. Then, all of a sudden, a few days ago, a gif of a guy flashing knives was sent as a VM to Hector. Hector had enough of it and left, clearing his profile and disabling VM's and PM's.

I took up the fight as a protest about double standards. Baller was banned, Az wasn't, because of smc. I sent Private Messages to smc, which she then decided to publish to protect her mentally deranged boyfiend (sic). You are one of those caught in the crossfire. Should I prove to be wrong then I will leave, as there will be no future for me on this forum, but should it be found that smc and Az have acted wrongly then I would expect at least an apology from those who have supported them.

I don't want smc to get banned for breaking the rules; she has been a great mod on this forum and I should be sorry to see her go. I hope she carries on as mod as she is a great asset to all of us. However, her involvement with Az has just gone too far.

Admin has been contacted and it is now down to them to make a decision, though I won't be holding my breath.

As I said before, I love reading your posts and you are a truly wonderful writer; I just don't agree with you on this matter.

I probably should not do this, because it will just make me a target again (which I have not been for all of 1 day), but I'll throw in my 2 cents, re: the last post.


I don't want to see anyone banned either, but it would be nice if the same rules applied to everyone. Continued harassment is not supposed to be allowed BY ANYONE.

To a great degree, that is why Baller was banned. He went off the deep end too many times.

However, harassment comes in many forms. Continued baiting of members to TRY and get them to blow up, look like fools, and make threats when administration does nothing to stop the real instigator IS HARASSMENT. It is done with the intention of getting other members banned.

This is an insidious practice and it is reprehensible.

And it is something that not just one member does. To some degree, there have been several XNXX members who engage in this practice of baiting. The problem with the administration is that rules are in place, but they are followed arbitrarily.

When someone of the same warped mindset sees that OTHER MEMBERS get away with continued baiting of people, they feel free to do the same thing, creating a more volatile and uncomfortable environment for everyone.

The answer "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT HERE, LEAVE!" plays right into the hands of the baiters. They get what they want and those being harassed eventually leave because they get get no support from the administration, or they are pushed so far that they break one of the rules themselves and BANG! The arbitrary application comes into play and they are banned.

I try my best to ignore the crap that goes on here and I think I succeed about 95% of the time, because I do believe that "95% of the time" XNXX is fun and I enjoy being here.

Despite having said that, I do not enjoy being harassed (though I see no end to it under the current administration), so I must continue to try to ignore it and not be baited into falling into the trap that certain members try to set.

 

The thing is, there are members here with whom I frequently disagree but I still hold them in the greatest respect.

There are those, like Asshole AZ, who need their butts kicked into orbit, as far away from here as possible. They are the dregs of society, whose one aim is to cause as much trouble as possible.

Then there are the sycophants who choose a side in an argument, without having a single original idea of their own, just like Heyesey, and who drift on to something else as soon as their mentor quits the scene.

You apparently have a long-standing grudge against smc and that is your business. I don't want to get involved in it, though I can fully understand why you would be happy if she was banned over this affair.

As for myself, she has always been a good friend though her judgement, in this case, has been distracted by her involvement with Asshole, who seems to believe that he can do as he wishes. I would, personally, take no satisfaction if she was banned.

The matter is now out of our hands and it is up to admin to react. As I said before, I just hope we can put this all behind us and act like the adults we are supposed to be.
